GPS - Garmin Nuvi 1390LMT
This version of Garmin GPS can at 'least TRY to pronounce' Malaysian road names with a Mat Salleh slang compared to my old Garmin Nuvi200. Malaysian maps can be downloaded for free from www.malsingmap.com . It can also displays the speed limit for the highway quite accurately and alerts you by turning the speed numbers to RED if you exceeded the limit.
Old camera but very dependable. Has a sentimental value for me even though it is only 5.1 Megapixel. Fit nicely into my shorts side pocket.
My Galaxy Note
I used it to google for accommodation and interesting places to eat other than looking up at my 'targets' when the Garmin Nuvi GPS fails. The only negative side is that the battery drains pretty fast after I upgraded the firmware to the 'now I know it is very unstable' Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Perhaps it is time I buy a car battery charger for my Galaxy Note.
